With the changing ways of medicine that are occurring today, it is a necessity for us to take on a team approach in order to provide the highest quality service and treatment for our patients. An essential part of the Usborne Family Medicine team is the Physician Assistant (PA-C.) PA's and NP's are an important extension of the physician’s care and are highly trained to provide care and treat illnesses, minor injuries and assist in surgical procedures. Physician Assistants take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays, diagnose patients and prescribe medications. They actively help fulfill our goal: To provide our patients with exceptional, specialized care with professionalism and compassion. If you see one of physician assistants, you will be getting the best of care because they are all under Dr. Usborne's supervision, so it's just like you are receiving two professionals for the price of one!
